Eastern PCM is providing Project Management services to New Zealand-based Pacific Edge Diagnostics, Ltd for the design and construction of their first U.S. Cancer Diagnostic and Prognostic Technology facility at Hershey Center for Applied Research. The new facility is scheduled to open its doors by September 2012 and will be the 2nd largest employer at the research center.

Eastern PCM, LLC was again ranked as one of the top Agency Construction Managers in the Central Pennsylvania region as reported by the Central Penn Business Journal. Of all of the firms that were ranked, Eastern PCM, LLC was the only firm that provided 100% Agency Construction Management Services.

Eastern PCM was recently notified that we have again placed in the Central Penn Business Journal’s list of “Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies”. The list ranks the top fifty businesses making significant contributions to the growth, strength and success of the Central PA economy. Eastern’s final ranking will be revealed at an awards ceremony on Friday, September 16, 2011.

After the storms passed and before City Island flooded, Eastern PCM enjoyed a day at the Metro Bank Ball Park. Good times and good food were enjoyed by all and were topped off with a Senators 6-2 win over the Altoona Curve.

Eastern PCM President, Bill Morgan served as a panelist for Harrisburg Area Community College’s High School Career Information Fair. The panelists provided information to high school students regarding future careers in the construction trade. The Career Fair drew approximately 375 high school students from across the mid-state.

Eastern PCM supports the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life

Eastern PCM is helping to raise funds for the Hummelstown-Hershey Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society by holding “Jean Day Fridays”. Employees are permitted to wear jeans to work in exchange for a $5.00 donation. To date, Eastern has raised $150 and is hoping to raise $500 by the Relay for Life event on June 10, 2011.
